Introducing the Phi Podcast: Frequency
Episode #1 features Dr. Warren G. Kramer III, MD, one of the best orthopedic surgeons in the world.

Phi's mission is to increase the human healthspan, and underneath it sits a simpler question: how do we find more healthy years, doing the things we love, with the people we love? I think the best answer is to learn from the people who have spent their lives studying the human body and mind.
For our first episode, I couldn't have asked for a better guest.
Episode #1: Dr. Warren G. Kramer III, MD
Dr. Warren Kramer has spent 35 years putting pro surfers, skaters, and motocross athletes back together. He is the surgeon Kelly Slater and Ryan Sheckler call after the worst slams. He serves on USA Surfing's High Performance Committee and has led medical care for the World Surf League for decades. He is, simply, a master of the human body.

We filmed in Dana Point with the ocean behind us. The conversation ranged from recovery and injury to bone strength, muscle, and the small daily choices that decide how well we age.
The Frequency Team

This is Chris Owens, producer of the podcast. He is also the Creative Director of 1520 Arts, a nonprofit dedicated to growing the presence of hip-hop culture in Utah, where he teaches kids to express themselves through breakdancing. That same gift carries straight into our work: Chris brings a vibe and an energy to the company that you can feel the moment you are in a room with him.

It takes a whole team to capture a conversation like this and make sure the guest is represented well. Huge thanks to Dan Grady, who handled the filming and editing, Ben Carthel on videography, and Sindee Savage, who managed all of the coordination and travel. Dan is one of the most powerful creatives I know, with a story worth its own episode, and he will be showing up as a guest soon.

A shout-out to Sindee for getting Dr. Kramer, and all of us, ready for the camera.

One of my favorite parts of making this episode was watching Dr. Kramer talk with my best friend, Chima Odunze, about how to make sure he doesn't wreck his body lifting heavy weight in the gym.
Thank You, Dr. Kramer
We are so lucky to have Dr. Kramer as one of our friends and advisors. We are grateful for his feedback on the products we develop, and for his stories and encouragement.

This Is Just the Beginning
We have some incredible guests lined up. The whole point of Frequency is to keep learning, out loud, from people who have spent a lifetime understanding how we heal, recover, and age, and to share every bit of it with you.
Episode #1 is live now. Come hang out.
